Wartime Diplomacy in times of full-scale Russian aggression
Ukraine's Wartime Diplomacy in times of full-scale Russian aggression made us rethink the usual rules.
The MFA of Ukraine has summarized the results of wartime diplomacy in 2022-2023, highlighting key achievements and events in Ukraine's diplomatic work since the start of the full-scale war. We launched a website showcasing Ukraine’s achievements in wartime diplomacy.
"Ukraine has reinvented diplomacy," said German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock in 2022. Indeed, war challenges require an intensified approach to diplomacy, with new methods to achieve results. For over two years, the Ukrainian diplomats have been working in a special mode of wartime diplomacy.
Despite all the challenges, Ukraine and its partners have built a global coalition to counter Russian aggression. We secured and continue to secure unprecedented military assistance from our partners, confidently move toward EU membership, maintain global food security, strengthen sanctions, and fight for justice.
We are grateful to all our international partners for standing with Ukraine. We also thank every Ukrainian at home and abroad whose efforts help to advance Ukraine's cause.
