Foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin to chair the United Nations Security Council open debate on conflicts in Europe

On February 21, Foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin will visit New York to chair the United Nations Security Council open debate on conflicts in Europe. The debate has been called by Ukraine as a key theme of its Presidency in the Security Council for the month of February 2017. UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, OSCE Secretary General Lamberto Zannier and Secretary General of the European External Action Service Helga Schmid are expected to brief the Council on this topic.

In New York, Pavlo Klimkin will also hold a number of bilateral meetings and participate as a speaker in the Council on Foreign Relations meeting on NATO, the EU, and the Future of European Security.
