Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Sergiy Kyslytsya led the delegation of Ukraine at the UNDP 50th Anniversary Ministerial Meeting
Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Sergiy Kyslytsya led the delegation of Ukraine at the UNDP 50th Anniversary Ministerial Meeting which took place on February 24, 2016 at the UN Headquarters. The high level-meeting was attended by over 80 delegations of United Nations member-states.
In his speech during the thematic session “Preventing Violent Conflicts, Building Peaceful Societies,” Mr. Kyslytsya highlighted that in the situation of external aggression substantial efforts of UNDP in Ukraine are channeled towards providing assistance to internally displaced persons, the implementation of peacebuilding projects and post-conflict rehabilitation.
During his visit to New York, Deputy Minister is to hold meetings with Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Stephen O'Brien, Under-Secretary-General for Political Affairs Jeffrey Feltman, as well as Under-Secretary-General and Administrator of the United Nations Development Programme Helen Clark.
